5 Trends to “Fall” For
As the leaves begin to change and the days grow more brisk, we find ourselves turning in earlier and retreating to find solace and comfort indoors this season. With this inward motion, fall is a great time for rejuvenation. Organization becomes a priority as we begin to see our homes in a different light (quite literally). Update your style with a few of the simplest yet most impactful trends we’re seeing this fall.
1) Bring in the Branches
Bring the outdoors indoors this season with a beautiful bundle of branches. Add some character to a simple vase atop a table, or even brighten up a small corner or entryway with a larger arrangement.
2) Modern “Prairie” Art
We’re seeing a lot of these pastoral pieces hanging in some of the most stylish spaces this fall. Characterized by deep earth tones and sprawling western landscapes, Prairie Art will add a calming and serene quality to any space.
3) Layered Rugs
Layering rugs is one of the quickest ways to add a layer of texture and depth to your space. Don’t be afraid to combine different textures, patterns or colors.
4) Mix Up Textures
Sheepskins are a great way to add both a warm texture and feel to the back of a chair or sofa. Add a large-knit throw to a side chair or the end of a bed.
5) Bring on the Baskets
Add a few baskets to your entryway for easy access and storage of things like scarves, gloves and hats.
